Case Study: Hutch achieves faster, more relevant in-game search with Elastic

A Elastic Case Study

Preview of the Hutch Case Study

Hutch uses Elastic Enterprise Search on Elastic Cloud to bring search to its new in-game "Clubs" feature, enabling millions of players to find and share mobile gaming experiences

Hutch, the mobile racing game studio behind titles like F1 Clash and Rebel Racing, needed a fast, accurate search experience for its new in-game Clubs feature. The company wanted a solution that could handle multiple data types, support ranked results, scale globally, and keep engineers from being burdened with infrastructure upkeep, so it turned to Elastic Enterprise Search on Elastic Cloud.

Elastic implemented a cloud-based search stack for Hutch that runs across regions and supports 13 languages, helping players find and join Clubs more easily. The results have been strong: more than 2.5 million users have joined Clubs and the search tool has processed over seven million queries, while Hutch also reported better search results, improved performance, and higher engagement.
