Global Freight Transportation Company, a U.S.-based global freight transportation business serving shippers and carriers in 18 countries, needed a better way to power search across its internal apps and proprietary online platform. Its old database-query approach limited employees and customers from quickly finding freight, order, and invoice data, so it turned to Elastic for search and observability.

Elastic implemented Elastic Search and Elastic Observability to deliver fast in-app search, logging, and monitoring across multiple business units. The results include 251 search requests per second with an average search time of 19 milliseconds, plus about 600 GB of application logs processed daily, helping the company detect and resolve issues faster and improve customer and employee experiences.
