Estonian health and welfare organization cuts MTTR by 40% with Elastic

TEHIK, Estonia’s Health and Welfare Information Systems Centre, needed a secure way to manage and monitor sensitive citizen data across complex legacy systems and tightly regulated on-premises environments. Working with Elastic, TEHIK sought better security and observability while reducing the time and resources required for incident investigation, audits, and compliance work.

Elastic implemented Elastic Security and Elastic Observability on the Elastic Platform in TEHIK’s own datacenter. The results included a 40% reduction in mean time to resolution, control and audit processes shrinking from days to minutes, and faster root-cause detection with improved visibility and machine learning capabilities. TEHIK also laid the groundwork for using Elastic AI Assistant for future generative AI workflows.
