A Elastic Case Study
Citadel Group, an Australian managed services provider, wanted to expand globally but was held back by legacy security and observability tools with limited features and high ingest costs that prevented scalable, cost-effective go-to-market offerings and compliance with data-sovereignty requirements. The company needed a platform that would let it deliver managed security and observability to customers with limited IT resources while protecting Citadel’s own enterprise.
Citadel migrated to Elastic Security and Elastic Observability on Elastic Cloud Enterprise, gaining resource-based pricing, fast federated cross-cluster search, RBAC, cloud-agnostic deployments (AWS/Azure), and out-of-the-box SIEM rules for better alerting. The move enabled quicker scaling, compliance with data-sovereignty needs, stronger threat detection, and a growing global customer base, with plans to expand use of Elastic for endpoint protection, APM, uptime, and machine learning.
