A eLabNext Case Study
Utrecht University’s Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which designs and pre‑clinically tests targeted drug delivery systems and works extensively with GMOs, viruses and cell culture, needed better organization and oversight of cell lines, plasmids, antibodies and probes stored across freezers and fridges. They implemented eLabNext’s eLabInventory to gain centralized visibility and control over their sample inventory and compliance records.
eLabNext configured eLabInventory to track batch numbers, clones, MTAs, contaminations and GMO permit registrations and to provide a full usage history and audit trail for every item. As a result, Utrecht University now maintains an up‑to‑date GMO database, can easily track and trace samples with historical records, streamlines reporting, and has greater confidence in the quality and compliance of its work.
