Gift of Life, a national not-for-profit marrow registry, was faced with the challenge of conducting mandatory physical exams for stem cell donors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Travel restrictions and health concerns made their traditional process, which required donors to fly to their center in Florida twice, unsafe and impractical. They partnered with Eko Health to find a solution that would prevent dangerous delays in life-saving transplants.

Donors used the devices at home while clinicians guided them via live video and reviewed their heart, lung, and ECG data in real time.
