Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), the second-largest university in India by enrollment, needed to manage admissions and high-volume examinations for thousands of working-professional B.Sc. students across study centres in Maharashtra. To shift to a paperless workflow and secure remote testing, the university used ePravesh for online enrollment/form filling and adopted Eklavvya’s online examination platform (Eklavvya.in) for exam delivery.
Eklavvya provided a cloud-based, autoscaling exam system with security measures including webcam authentication and study-centre examiner verification, and enabled online fee payment for repeater students; the platform ran more than 50,000 exams in two weeks. The Eklavvya implementation produced 100% accurate, instant mark-sheet generation, faster result declarations and significant administrative cost savings for YCMOU.
