Essilor, a multinational eye-care company, needed a reliable way to identify franchise candidates with entrepreneurial ability for its Eye Mitra Opticians program across many Indian regions. To streamline selection of senior and micro-entrepreneur candidates and overcome regional language barriers, Essilor turned to the Eklavvya online assessment platform to run psychometric/personality evaluations during franchise recruitment.
Eklavvya delivered a 15-minute objective psychometric test with multi-lingual support (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, English), image proctoring, candidate registration and automated report generation; results are emailed to regional heads to aid hiring decisions. Using Eklavvya reduced Essilor’s manual work considerably, improved decision speed and consistency, and made assessments accessible and user-friendly for regional applicants.
