PSA Peugeot Citroën Design Center upgrades to EIZO’s 36-inch 4K monitor for millimeter-precise car design

PSA Peugeot Citroën Design Center needed to upgrade its digital-style studio with high-resolution monitors that could display precise 1:1 scale vehicle models without requiring a full room refurbishment. The challenge was finding a solution that offered exceptional image detail, true color accuracy, and compatibility with their existing 4K x 2K video projector, all within a restricted desk space.

EIZO provided its DuraVision FDH3601 monitors, which met the precise requirements with their 4K resolution, low pixel pitch, and dual-link DVI-D inputs. The solution delivered true color accuracy and allowed two 2K sources to be displayed simultaneously. This enabled PSA's designers to advance their work on true colors, achieve greater precision in evaluating designs down to the millimeter, and save costs by reducing the need for physical scale models before production.
