The customer Netflix collaborated with animation studio Production I.G on the world's first 4K HDR hand-drawn animated series, *Sol Levante*. Their challenge was creating a new production pipeline for this uncharted format, requiring monitors trusted for precise color and HDR accuracy to ensure artistic intent was maintained from production through final check.

The solution from vendor EIZO was implementing a suite of ColorEdge monitors, including the ColorEdge CG319X for main editing and the ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG3145 as the HDR reference monitor. This allowed the small team to check and author colors with confidence, ensuring the final product matched their vision. The result was the successful global launch of the groundbreaking series, with the team expressing that EIZO's technology was essential for enabling and validating their new methods of detailed 4K HDR expression.
