Kindred Health Transitional Care and Rehabilitation faced a challenge at its nursing facilities where nursing stations lacked proper monitoring and cable management. This left nurses unable to monitor hallways, parking lots, and entrances from their stations, creating potential security vulnerabilities and pulling them away from patient care. They needed a solution to view security camera feeds from any nursing station.

EIZO provided the solution by deploying its DuraVision FDF2304W-IP monitors at each station. These standalone monitors connected directly to the network, allowing nurses to view up to 16 camera feeds without needing a dedicated computer. The EIZO solution drastically simplified installation, cutting typical setup time from up to 120 minutes to under 30 minutes, while also reducing costs by eliminating the need for additional hardware, software, and licenses.
