Case Study: HungaroControl upgrades ATC display systems with EIZO monitors

A EIZO Case Study

HungaroControl deploys 134 primary control monitors and 525 auxiliary monitors with EIZO

HungaroControl, a state-owned enterprise providing air navigation services in Hungary and Kosovo, required a complete visual display solution for its new and renovated air traffic control centers. Their challenge was to procure high-performance primary control and auxiliary monitors that could meet the specific technical demands of their advanced MATIAS software and provide superior image quality for their air traffic control officers. They partnered with EIZO to fulfill these needs.

EIZO implemented a solution consisting of its 28-inch Raptor series primary control monitors and 21-inch FlexScan S2133 auxiliary monitors. This combination perfectly matched the required 2K x 2K and 1600 x 1200 resolutions, with EIZO being one of the few vendors still offering the specific square-format auxiliary display. The result was the successful outfitting of both control centers with a total of 134 primary and 525 auxiliary monitors. EIZO's solution was selected for its superior optical performance, low reflection, and its unique ability to meet all of HungaroControl's specific display needs in a single manufacturer.
