CSAA Insurance Group, the second-largest AAA insurer with $3.2 billion in direct written premiums, needed greater agility, speed to market, and improved customer engagement in its personal lines business but was constrained by multiple legacy policy administration and billing systems accumulated through acquisitions. Those disparate systems made upgrades difficult, limited product flexibility and growth, and increased operational costs.

CSAA consolidated six policy administration and three billing systems onto EIS Group’s PolicyCore and BillingCore platform, unifying rating, underwriting, policy administration, product development, customer management, document generation and analytics into a single solution supporting 1.4M auto policies, 5,000+ users across 23 states and 50+ integrations. The rollout cut time to market (new products in half), saved $26M from retiring legacy auto systems, drove a $600M increase in DPW, lowered underwriting expense by 100 bps, improved first-call resolution and retention, lifted NPS by 16 points, and earned a Celent Model Insurer award.
