AIG Canada (A&H) Deploys EIS Core Insurance Software for its Group Benefits Business

AIG Canada’s Accident & Health (Group Benefits) business was constrained by aging legacy systems and manual processes that limited growth, slowed speed to market and made compliance difficult. They needed a scalable platform to automate workflows and strengthen controls across new business acquisition, policy administration and billing for 27 coverages (group & voluntary accident, group medical, group critical illness and individual accident).

EIS deployed its Core Insurance software—using PolicyCore for pricing, Product Factory and the DeltaBase methodology—to deliver configurable business rules, automated rating, workflow and business activity monitoring. In an 11‑month implementation the solution produced a single global rating engine, 9 interfaces, 40 generated documents and bilingual support, enabling faster product changes, improved compliance and ongoing automation opportunities—delivered on time and on budget.
