Reed Tech boosts unit testing to 75% and modernizes legacy apps with Eigen X

Eigen X partnered with Reed Tech, a provider of software solutions for government and life sciences clients. The challenge was to modernize Reed Tech's legacy Windows applications and WCF services, migrate on-premise archived data to Azure, convert applications to Azure function apps, and implement modern authorization and authentication protocols to meet regulatory standards.

Eigen X successfully migrated the services to .NET 8 APIs, re-architected applications into Azure function apps, and developed a new microservice for Azure storage. They also implemented OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for security. The results included a modernized architecture that met coding and regulatory standards, a full migration to Azure leading to cost savings, and improved, standardized security.
