Pacific College of Oriental Medicine modernizes student data across campuses with Eigen X in 2018

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) faced significant challenges with its Salesforce implementation, including a lack of data visibility across its campuses, duplicated student records, and an outdated Salesforce Classic interface. Without a proper development lifecycle, introducing new features was error-prone. To address these issues, PCOM partnered with the vendor Eigen X for a solution involving Sales Cloud and HEDA.

Eigen X implemented a structured SDLC process and migrated all data into the HEDA model, which eliminated duplicates and provided a consolidated view of students. They updated security roles for better data access, built new automations, and enabled the Salesforce Lightning interface. As a result, the PCOM team gained robust testing environments to prevent bugs, achieved clear visibility of student information across campuses, and benefited from a more modern and efficient user interface.
