Assessing loan agreements and generating a deal database for a Europe-based G-SIB

Large Global Bank worked with Eigen Technologies to tackle heavily manual, time-consuming, and costly deal-execution processes. The bank needed to automate due diligence for syndicated loan participations, review internal policy requirements for loan agreements and related documentation, and create deal-level databases for front office and syndications from sources such as SharePoint and other internal and external repositories.

Eigen Technologies implemented its NLP platform to analyze European-style LMAs and U.S.-style LSTAs, extract key data from loan documents, and feed it into deal-level databases and other systems via APIs. The solution delivered faster, more cost-effective data management, processed 400-page agreements in minutes, and won the competitive RFP/PoC on accuracy, flexibility, and ease of use.
