Australian Catholic University boosts onboarding satisfaction with EI Design's Gateway to ACU

The Australian Catholic University (ACU) faced a significant challenge in onboarding both international and local students due to pandemic-related travel restrictions and border closures, which prevented in-person open days and orientations. ACU engaged vendor EI Design's Liberate Learning team to expand on a successful pilot program and create a new, engaging onboarding experience for its students.

EI Design implemented a gamified, social learning solution powered by immersive VR-360 technology that was accessible from any desktop. This approach resulted in a remarkable increase in student satisfaction, enhancing connectedness, preparedness, and resilience, which had a substantial positive impact on academic success and retention. The program developed by EI Design was also recognized as a winner in the 2023 LearnX Awards.
