LFS standard has convinced Schäferbarthold

Schäferbarthold GmbH, an automotive parts retailer, wanted to improve warehouse utilization and process transparency at its logistics center in Porta Westfalica. The company chose the LFS warehouse management system from Ehrhardt + Partner and was able to adopt almost the complete standard solution with only minimal adaptations.

Ehrhardt + Partner implemented LFS to manage flexible reservation and bin location allocation, automated replenishment, FIFO-based storage, and the two shuttle installations. Schäferbarthold also switched from voucher-based picking to Pick-by-Voice, which accelerated picking and reduced picking errors, while the system helped save storage space and shorten waiting times in the warehouse.
