Bayerische Milchindustrie optimizes their logistic processes with LFS

Bayerische Milchindustrie, a German dairy producer with nine production plants, needed a single warehouse management system that could handle inventory across all sites while maintaining transparency for sensitive products. The company also needed support for different temperature zones, batch and best-before-date control, and a total solution for all locations.

Ehrhardt + Partner implemented the LFS warehouse management system, along with iBrowser and handheld and forklift terminals, to standardize processes across the company. Bayerische Milchindustrie says LFS increased production volume without adding staff, reduced warehouse occupancy from 120% to about 80%, and created permanent traceability and transparency across the process chain.
