Trillium Health Resources, a local government agency serving a 24-county area in eastern North Carolina, needed a more reliable disaster recovery approach to protect access to mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services. Their existing setup, which used array-based replication and VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager, was difficult to manage, costly, and too slow to meet recovery requirements. They also needed to consolidate environments for East Carolina Behavioral Health and CoastalCare on a tight deadline.
