With Egnyte, Wintrust replaced ShareFile and its on-premises file server with a user-friendly cloud file management and governance platform, including Egnyte’s Secure and Govern capabilities. The company improved visibility, permissions control, retention enforcement, sensitive content detection, and ransomware monitoring, while building a company-wide culture of governance. Results included adding $20 billion in assets and 2,000 employees without significant growth in storage needs, and reducing incident response from months to immediate action.
