PIB Group Consolidates Terabytes of Data from Dozens of Acquisitions

PIB Group, an international insurance intermediary, needed a better way to manage the data created by its acquisition-led growth, which had left information spread across many legacy systems and made compliance, security, and collaboration harder. Egnyte helped PIB centralize this data without disrupting familiar workflows.

Egnyte enabled PIB Group to migrate content from acquired companies’ servers and cloud platforms into a single repository, while also improving governance with alerts, secure sharing, archiving, and co-editing. PIB has moved roughly 40 TB of data into Egnyte, including 16 TB in under two weeks, saving an estimated thousands of hours and giving the team a smoother transition to cloud-based file management.
