Nimbus Therapeutics Automates CRO Data Ingestion to Accelerate Deployment to Scientists

Nimbus Therapeutics, a biotech company, faced growing challenges managing large volumes of research data from CROs and other external partners. Its manual data ingestion process was slow, error-prone, and hard to scale, creating delays, version-control issues, and limited visibility across teams. Nimbus used Egnyte as part of its data storage and workflow environment to help address the problem.

Egnyte enabled Nimbus Therapeutics to automate CRO data ingestion through integrations with AWS Lambda, Jira, and Egnyte APIs, creating an end-to-end workflow for receiving, validating, uploading, and tracking data. The results were significant: the data team shrank from 3 FTEs to 1 PTE, over 99% of upload cases were fully automated in 2021, and 71% of data were loaded into the database and viewable within 30 minutes. With Egnyte, Nimbus also improved data quality, reduced human error, and sped up drug development.
