A Egencia Case Study
Lexmark, a global leader in printing and enterprise content software with more than 12,200 employees and over half its revenue from international sales, needed better visibility and control of its corporate travel. Managing travel through a roster of 70 agencies left the company with fragmented spend data, frequent out-of-policy bookings and unnecessary agent calls, while still requiring improved service and traveler safety.
Lexmark consolidated its program with Egencia’s global platform—combining user-friendly online and mobile booking, agent support and meetings tools—which allowed it to retire the 70 agencies and win CFO buy-in on costs. Online adoption jumped from 40% to 80% on day one; centralized, real-time reporting improved oversight and rate negotiations; and the company gained easier traveler tracking, faster onboarding and ongoing Egencia support.
