Western AgCredit, a borrower-owned cooperative in the Farm Credit System serving farmers and ranchers across Utah and Wyoming with eight branches, made going paperless a top priority to improve security, consistency and efficiency. eFileCabinet was implemented branch by branch, using master templates, pre-defined document names and role-based permissions to ensure consistent, secure filing; Western AgCredit converted hundreds of paper files as part of the rollout. The deployment improved access and workload distribution across geography, cut costs from reduced physical file movement and shipping, freed branch storage space, and enabled electronic retention and deletion processes—delivering measurable efficiency and security gains through eFileCabinet.
