VR accelerates DevOps culture change with centralized tools

VR Group, the Finnish railway company, wanted to accelerate a DevOps culture shift across its organization and supplier network while improving visibility, software quality, and test automation. To support this, VR partnered with Eficode and Eficode ROOT to centralize its DevOps tools and make adoption easier for internal teams and subcontractors.

Eficode implemented an overall DevOps environment service for VR, including licenses, server capacity, support, maintenance, and platform implementation, with tools such as Deveo, Atlassian task/documentation tools, CI servers, artifact management, and monitoring/analytics. The result was faster and higher-quality test automation and QA, less time spent maintaining tools, improved collaboration, and cost savings from moving away from decentralized environments, while helping centralize software production under VR’s own control.
