Case Study: Vaisala Achieves Greater Agility with Eficode’s Development and Design System

Vaisala, a global leader in weather, environmental, and industrial measurement, wanted a more agile way to reuse design and development work across product teams. To help address this challenge, Eficode worked with Vaisala to build a Development and Design System that could support shared UI components and better cross-team collaboration.

Eficode implemented the system collaboratively with Vaisala’s platform, UX, and application teams, adding automation for component testing, documentation updates, and publishing through Vaisala’s existing Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Node.js-based pipeline. The result was less duplicate work, faster UI development, improved consistency across products, quicker project starts, and a more scalable internal system with only two coordinators needed to keep it moving.
