Eficode jumpstarted Parkkisähkö’s new mobile app

Parkkisähkö, one of the world’s largest parking electricity operators, needed to renew an outdated and hard-to-manage mobile app. The existing app was built in Clojure, a language nobody on the team knew well, and the poor customer experience made development slow while also limiting communication about new features. Eficode was brought in to help jumpstart the project with UX, software, and DevOps expertise.

Eficode supported Parkkisähkö end to end by defining the app’s UX/UI, choosing a React Native architecture and JavaScript-friendly libraries, coaching the team on Agile practices, and setting up CodePush and test automation. As a result, Parkkisähkö successfully launched a new, easy-to-manage mobile app that provides real-time charging-station updates and faster feature communication to customers. The CodePush setup also sped up delivery of new information, helping Parkkisähkö get updates to users immediately.
