HERE Technologies, a global geoinformation and location services company, needed a partner to help create new ways of using location and map data for indoor environments such as malls, airports, offices, and warehouses. They turned to Eficode to support development of HERE Indoor Positioning, including its Radio Map Admin Tool for administering and editing indoor signal-strength data.

Eficode designed, developed, prototyped, and adapted the backend and software for the Radio Map Admin Tool in close collaboration with HERE’s team. The result was a flexible, fully customizable tool that helps visualize and manipulate visitor data and indoor positioning information; while no exact business metrics were disclosed, HERE reported strong collaboration, rapid responsiveness to changing requirements, and a solution that met their needs effectively.
