Case Study: DNT achieves cloud-native DevOps migration with Eficode

DNT, the Norwegian Trekking Association, needed to modernize its software development and operations as its cloud and container stack aged and DevOps work had been deprioritized due to limited resources. Eficode helped DNT assess its current setup and plan a move from AWS, Docker Swarm, and Docker Cloud toward a more cloud-native approach using Google Cloud, Kubernetes, CircleCI, and Cloud SQL.

Eficode then worked with DNT to migrate the applications and infrastructure, even after Docker announced the end of Docker Cloud with just 60 days’ notice. More than 20 applications were moved to the new environment in two months, with the team finishing 9 days ahead of the shutdown deadline. Eficode has continued supporting DNT with infrastructure and pipeline improvements since the transition.
