Creating Dealflow: A brutally honest account
Business Finland, a Finnish government agency under the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, needed a better way to match Finnish businesses with global investors and replace a manual matchmaking process. Eficode, a DevOps company with software development, design, UX, and application management expertise, helped create Dealflow, a database built to support investment targeting in Finland.
Eficode delivered the Dealflow platform through a Design Sprint, iterative UI and feature planning, and DevOps-led improvements to testing and deployment. The team implemented automated testing and a lightweight Docker swarm orchestration solution, helping launch the product despite complex legacy-system integration and changing requirements. Dealflow has now been live for a year, handled a major demand spike during Slush 2019, and is still being maintained and improved by Eficode.
