The Guides and Scouts of Finland worked with Eficode to address a challenge in Finland’s education system: recognizing skills gained through hobbies and extracurricular activities. Together, they set out to create a digital service called Competence Disc that could show how informal learning maps to formal studies, while also supporting teachers, youth workers, and young people.

Eficode delivered the full Competence Disc application, including the front-end, back-end database, user and content management functions, and a microservices-based container architecture. The result was a responsive, accessible service launched on a swift schedule, with the customer highlighting smooth collaboration, strong communication, and Eficode’s professional, proactive approach.
