Elevate Fiber, a privately held fiber broadband provider in southwest Colorado, was growing quickly but was managing DNS, DHCP, and IP addresses manually with spreadsheets and a Microsoft 2012 server. That approach was error-prone, hard to scale, and too slow for the company’s rapid expansion, especially as it needed to launch new markets under tight timelines.

EfficientIP implemented an integrated DDI solution using SOLIDserver appliances, later adding DNS Guardian and SURBL for DNS security. With EfficientIP, Elevate Fiber cut DHCP deployment time from about an hour to a few minutes, eliminated IP duplication, improved redundancy, and strengthened security by quarantining suspicious traffic. The new system also helped the company recover about 60% of lapsed subscribers through a bill-pay portal, improving both operations and revenue.
