Agencia Estatal de Meteorología opts for EfficientIP to protect its DDI systems and guarantee the visibility of the network

AEMET, Spain’s national meteorological agency, needed uninterrupted, highly available network services to ensure timely weather warnings for citizens. Its legacy DNS/DHCP/IPAM setup left relays and the IPAM module obsolete and disconnected, causing compatibility issues, extra costs and limited visibility and scalability across the organisation.

AEMET deployed two EfficientIP SOLIDserver 570‑DDI appliances with active‑active DHCP failover and SmartArchitecture™ templates, implemented by ICA with EfficientIP Professional Services in a three‑month rollout. The integrated DDI solution delivered centralized management, improved visibility, faster IP allocation, cost and labour savings, scalable capacity for IPv4/IPv6 and higher service continuity — all rolled out on time and without impacting production.
