Heifer International migrates 110 VMs in 2 months with Effectual

Heifer International, a global nonprofit working to end hunger and poverty, faced a mandatory data center evacuation with a strict two-month deadline. After a previous migration partner failed, they turned to AWS, which recommended Effectual to migrate over 110 virtual machines and 70TB of production data to AWS.

Effectual successfully executed the migration, swiftly solving an unforeseen technical issue with the Citrix environment to keep the project on track. The result was a 100% on-time migration with zero operational disruption. Effectual's work enabled significant cost savings and ensured the continuity of Heifer International's critical global mission.
