HawkEye 360 engaged Effectual to find an innovative solution to handle their varied data types and democratize data access across the company.

Effectual designed and built an AWS data lake architecture for HawkEye 360, utilizing S3 for storage and AWS Lambda and Glue for data transformation processes. They used AWS Lake Formation to govern security and compliance and built a custom web front-end to enable analysts to query data via a graphical interface. The solution was delivered as a minimum viable product in just 10 weeks, providing HawkEye 360 with a reliable, governed data source. This empowered their analysts to independently execute queries, reduced reliance on expensive engineers, and significantly accelerated the company's ideation-to-product process.
