Ginnie Mae strengthens tsunami data analytics and real-time monitoring with Effectual

Effectual partnered with Ginnie Mae, a federal government customer, to address the challenge of moving public-facing and internal web applications to the AWS cloud. The goal was to enhance the resiliency and availability of these systems while implementing real-time logging, data analytics, and continuous monitoring for critical tsunami data to aid in emergency response planning.

To solve this, Effectual implemented a solution using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and Serverless storage. This provided continuous monitoring, automated data collection when a tsunami is detected, and greater accessibility to analytics. The results included improved application resiliency and availability, giving scientists valuable insights to understand tsunamis and develop effective strategies for disaster preparedness and community safety.
