Ginnie Mae migrates 74TB to AWS GovCloud with Effectual

The Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae), a wholly owned U.S. Government corporation, faced the challenge of migrating its key financial database application to AWS GovCloud while adhering to strict government and financial services compliance. A central challenge was achieving a high availability SLA for its Oracle databases without being able to change a single line of the application code, which was incompatible with Amazon RDS.
