Intelon Optics, a medical device company focused on next-generation eye diagnostics, needed a core software console for its BOSS™ optical-scanning diagnostic platform. EffectiveSoft partnered with Intelon Optics to build the Instrument Console, which receives eye scans from a controller device and presents biomechanical measurements for cornea, sclera, and lens assessment.

EffectiveSoft developed the console’s front end and back end from the ground up, delivering secure multi-tier functionality with role-based access, patient management, scan pattern selection, measurement visualization, and data export. The solution also supported HIPAA-compliant data handling, encrypted storage, and precise repeatable measurements, helping eyecare professionals achieve accurate eye-health assessments and more reliable outcomes in progressive disease and post-surgery cases.
