A EduMe Case Study

Preview of the Uber Case Study

Uber - Customer Case Study

Uber was expanding rapidly across Sub-Saharan Africa and needed a consistent, cost‑effective way to onboard and support large numbers of new driver-partners. Uber partnered with EduMe, using EduMe’s mobile-first, bite-sized interactive training platform to deliver app tutorials and customer‑service guidance that drivers can access on their smartphones.

EduMe’s solution reduced pressure on Uber’s support centre and sped onboarding while keeping service quality high. In Johannesburg, nearly half of new driver-partners chose EduMe’s platform; they were 13% faster to their first trip, logged as many weekly trips as in‑person trainees, and showed no difference in rider ratings. The program delivered clear time and cost savings, high user satisfaction (98% would recommend; 100% found the guidance useful), and has been expanded by Uber with EduMe into multiple markets.
