Preview of the Fortum Case Study

Sales representatives trained 36 times faster, winning back 30 days worth of time

Fortum, a global leader in heat production and renewable energy, needed a better way to train its customer service and sales teams during the Covid-19 pandemic. Its in-person sessions were time-consuming and not engaging enough, making it harder to onboard new employees quickly and keep experienced staff up to date. Fortum used eduMe’s Workforce Success platform to address these challenges.

eduMe delivered training through 2–5 minute microlearning modules sent to smartphones, making learning more accessible and easier to distribute across teams. The results were strong: training was 36 times faster, 720 hours of productivity were freed up over two months, and activation rates reached 90%+. Fortum also reported that 100% of leadership and representatives preferred the remote training approach, and managers gained better insight through eduMe’s reporting and feedback tools.
