Tigo Honduras, the country’s largest mobile operator with nearly 5 million customers, faced a challenge keeping its highly dispersed sales agents up to date on products, promotions and pricing while delivering practical sales training that fit around their busy, on-the-go schedules. To replace a mix of in-person workshops, printed materials, WhatsApp groups and emails, Tigo chose EduMe’s mobile-first microlearning app to provide immediate, point-of-need access to concise training and information.
Using EduMe, Tigo produced short in‑house videos of local trainers and animated slideshows, launched the platform with a fun event, engaged area managers to drive adoption, and used EduMe’s messaging and pinned content to replace printed materials and broadcast updates. Within three months of the EduMe rollout, Tigo’s agents’ sales rose 66%, a result Tigo credits to EduMe’s reinforcement of face-to-face training and easy access to relevant information.
