Grubhub needed a better way to onboard and educate its drivers without creating friction. Its previous training approach required account creation, made content hard to access, and overloaded drivers with too much information at once, which hurt engagement and limited knowledge retention. eduMe helped Grubhub address this with easier-to-access, bite-sized learning delivered across the driver journey.
With eduMe, Grubhub used passwordless lessons, in-app notifications, Braze email integrations, a branded Knowledge Hub, and social-media-style Guides to deliver ongoing training and product education. The result was stronger onboarding and product adoption: start rates rose by about 15%, drivers using eduMe content were 60% more likely to adopt a pilot feature, hours worked increased 15%, order cancellations fell 2%, and customer contacts dropped 1–2%.
