A Education Networks of America Case Study
Wilder School District, a rural Idaho district serving 486 students—most of them low income and many without home Internet access—wanted to close the digital and achievement equity gap while supporting a 1:1 learning environment. To make that possible, the district needed a stronger wireless foundation and reliable connectivity for students and teachers, so it partnered with Education Networks of America (ENA) for infrastructure support and managed Wi-Fi.
ENA assessed Wilder’s network, designed and deployed a scalable Wi-Fi solution through ENA Air, and helped strengthen the district’s capacity for mobile learning, online assessments, and anytime/anywhere access. The results included improved teacher confidence, higher student engagement, daily progress visibility, and expanded learning beyond school with free Sprint data access on student iPads; even students who missed weeks of school were able to keep up from home and the hospital.
