Case Study: Tusculum College Achieves Thriving Distance Learning with Education Networks of America

A Education Networks of America Case Study

Preview of the Tusculum College Case Study

How Tennessee’s Tusculum College Successfully Leveraged Technology to Create a Thriving Distance Learning Program

Tusculum College, Tennessee’s first college, needed a way to reverse declining enrollment, better serve non-traditional students, and connect its three geographically dispersed campuses. Working with Education Networks of America (ENA), the college looked to strengthen its network and campus Wi-Fi infrastructure and add distance learning capabilities using video conferencing and online learning tools.

Education Networks of America (ENA) helped Tusculum build a scalable digital campus with ENA Air Wi‑Fi and Video Collaboration Powered by Zoom (VCPZ), replacing an expensive legacy video system with a flexible cloud-based solution. The result was a thriving hybrid distance learning program that grew online enrollment from 120 students in 2011 to more than 900, generated over $800,000 in revenue, and supported 154 meetings with 47,688 total meeting minutes in a single usage period.
