Florida’s School District of Clay County Successfully Deploys Hosted VoIP Service

The School District of Clay County in Northeast Florida serves about 35,100 students across 48 schools and was facing a failing legacy phone system. To modernize communications, the district turned to Education Networks of America (ENA) and its hosted VoIP solution, ENA SmartVoice, designed for K–12 schools.

Education Networks of America implemented ENA SmartVoice, giving Clay County a cloud-based voice platform with an online portal, mobile app, and stronger administrative control. The district has already deployed VoIP at 24 sites and reports a seamless transition, improved mobility, and easier support, allowing IT staff to spend less time on phone maintenance and more time supporting classroom technology.
