Fayette County Schools - Customer Case Study

Fayette County Schools, a rural district in West Tennessee serving 3,700 students, needed to replace an outdated, resource-intensive phone system and was hesitant to take on another major technology project. Already using Education Networks of America (ENA) for internet service, the district turned to ENA and its hosted VoIP solution, ENA SmartVoice, to find a simpler, more modern communications platform.

ENA SmartVoice was rolled out gradually, starting with one site and later expanding to additional buildings, including the central office. Education Networks of America helped reduce the district’s anxiety around deployment, while delivering features like extension dialing, voicemail-to-email, and call forwarding through an online portal. Fayette County Schools also reported major cost savings, simplified billing with one invoice instead of 15 to 20, and less burden on staff by moving to ENA’s managed hosted service.
