Case Study: Clay County Achieves Scalable Digital Learning with Education Networks of America

A Education Networks of America Case Study

Preview of the Clay County Case Study

Building and Executing a Cohesive and Scalable Technology Vision

Clay County School District in Northeast Florida was working to transform its learning environment around student-centered instruction, but its aging infrastructure couldn’t keep up with growing digital demands. Teachers were frustrated by slow networks and unreliable devices, making it difficult to integrate technology into everyday learning.

Education Networks of America (ENA) helped Clay County rebuild its foundation with a scalable technology strategy that included ENA SmartVoice, ENA NetShield, upgraded bandwidth and switching, expanded Wi‑Fi, virtualization, backup improvements, and classroom filtering tools. With the new infrastructure in place, Clay rolled out Chromebooks, Google Apps for Education, and online student and parent portals, leading to rapid adoption, stronger teacher confidence, and much higher engagement — including Chromebook deployments growing from 513 to 13,807 in 15 months and the student portal reaching about 17,000 to 18,000 daily logins.
