The Wood County Schools - Customer Case Study

The Wood County Schools in West Virginia needed a faster, more accurate way to manage bus routing and scheduling than their manual, paper-based process. Working with Education Logistics Inc (EDULOG), the district also had to incorporate the state’s new 911 address map into its transportation data and make student stop locations easier to access and verify.

Education Logistics Inc implemented the EDULOG.nt routing and scheduling system, used GPS data and AutoRunBuilder to build accurate bus runs, and later added WebSchoolAssistant for secure staff access to reports and location data. The solution helped the district quickly answer parent and school questions, improve route accuracy, support state reporting, and identify stops and affected students more efficiently; the transportation team said it now relies on EDULOG daily and “can’t live without it now.”
